Fundamentals of Music Summer Camp The children’s music camp will offer a fun introduction to music concepts such as pitch, rhythm, tempo, and dynamics through play and hands-on learning. The kids will participate in games and learn a music piece taught by the instructors. Age Group: Recommended for children ages 10-17, or with instructor approval. Time: July 13, 2026 - July 17 , 2026 | 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Drop-off begins at 8:30 AM Location: Suwanee First United Methodist, 603 Scales Rd NW, Suwanee, GA 30024 Through this summer camp, the students will learn the fundamentals of music theory, ear training, and music history. The students will be assigned to the choral ensemble and placed in their designated voice part. The instructors will guide and teach the music to the students to have a student choral ensemble recital by the end of the week. The outcome of this summer camp is to offer a fun experience for students who want to continue making music over the summer while teaching them the essentials of music-making to promote a deeper understanding and appreciation of music. Depending on the student’s preference, they could receive a vocal, piano, or conducting lesson with the respective instructor. Instructors: Ananda Munoz and Angel Alvarez
