Youth Arts Council

  • Students must apply each term. The term is a year-long (from June - May). 

  • Applications are open to high school freshmen through seniors and must be enrolled in a high school (or home-schooled) in the City of Suwanee. 

  • Suwanee Youth Arts Council officers will be elected by their peers each August (President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer). 

  • Obligations required: attending Youth Arts Council regular and special meetings, volunteering 5 hours a month at the Suwanee Arts Center, and working on a yearly group art project. 

  • Benefits include: enhancing your college resume, connecting with the teen art community, and developing your arts practice. 

  • The group is supervised by the Suwanee Arts Center Board of Directors Secretary, Rhonda Starling.
