Watercolor: Landscapes

Service Description

Join us for this 2-session watercolor workshop where we explore the balance between loose, expressive washes and thoughtful, detailed brushwork—all through the beauty of landscapes. Learn how to build atmosphere, capture depth, and create that magical sense of place using layered color, light, and texture. And, of course, enjoy dedicated time to paint, learn, and unwind. Watercolor’s translucent nature makes it ideal for creating soft skies, distant horizons, shimmering water, and the subtle shifts in light that define a landscape. Each student will work on two watercolor sheets: • One dedicated to your final landscape painting • One for technique practice—skills you can use in all future artworks All supplies will be provided; however, feel free to bring your personal favorites if you’d like. Suitable for all levels—even beginners (yes, even if you’ve never picked up a brush!). Workshop Schedule: Session 1: January 7 Session 2: January 14 Time: 6 PM – 9 PM
