Get into the holiday spirit and create one-of-a-kind, handmade gifts in this watercolor class! Perfect for beginners (yes, even if you’ve never picked up a brush!), this workshop will guide you in painting beautiful holiday greeting cards you can give as originals or have printed. You’ll be painting cards for Christmas, Hanukkah, New Year’s—or any celebration you like. Your instructor will bring along a collection of gorgeous examples to get the creative juices flowing, but feel free to bring your own ideas too! You’ll learn fun techniques like salt and spatter effects for snowy scenes, and if you want, your instructor can even add a calligraphy greeting to your cards! To top it off, you’ll get tips and resources for printing copies of your cards. Turn your artwork into stunning, professionally printed cards, ready just in time for the holidays! Prerequisites: No prior experience in watercolor painting is required. All materials will be provided, though participants are welcome to bring their own supplies to add to the project.
