Service Description

Join us for a special watercolor workshop focused on animals at the Suwanee Arts Festival! In this hands-on session, you’ll learn how to create expressive animal portraits using watercolor techniques that bring personality and movement to life on paper. From loose sketching to layered washes, we’ll explore how to capture fur, features, and character with color and texture. 🦊Dates: April 11, 2026 @ 12:00 AM-2:00 PM. This will be held at the Suwanee Arts Festival! 🦊Price: $50.00 🦊Location: Town Center Park, by the Humpty Dumpty Sculpture by the stage. Map Down Below! You’ll learn how to: • Build your animal composition from simple sketches • Use bold washes and detailed brushwork • Create depth and softness through layering • Play with color, values, and texture to suggest fur and form • Capture the unique personality of your favorite pet or animal in a painterly way Each student will work on two watercolor sheets: • One for practicing techniques you can use in future watercolor projects • One for your finished animal painting All supplies are provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own materials if you prefer.
