ABOUT THE EVENT

We are once again partnering with the City of Suwanee for this two day community celebration of creativity! Everyone is invited to create glowing or illuminated costumes and carry their pre-made, battery-powered lanterns in this 1 mile community parade through the streets surrounding Town Center Park. This electrical spectacle is family and pet friendly, so everyone can join in the fun!
Bring your own illuminated paper lanterns (battery powered only, no live flames).

DIY paper lantern kits are available to purchase at the Suwanee Art Center.

Lanterns in assorted colors and sizes, prices vary. Pick up a kit and decorate at home.

Or register for one of our Lantern making workshops.

Decorate your lantern with exciting shapes and colors using tissue paper, stickers,

ribbons, twine, sequins, pom poms, feathers, and more!

Workshops - $30

One lantern kit per registration

(includes: 1 paper lantern, 1 bamboo stick, & 1 LED light,

decorating supplies also included)

All ages welcome

(children 8 yrs or younger must be accompanied by parent/guardian)

Space is limited: class size/5-10 students
