🎉 Join Us for a Glowing Community Celebration! 🎉
We are partnering once again with the City of Suwanee for a two-day celebration of creativity! ✨✨
👯♂️ What’s Happening?
Everyone is invited to create glowing or illuminated costumes and bring their pre-made, battery-powered lanterns to light up the streets during our 1-mile community parade surrounding Town Center Park.
This electrical spectacle is family and pet-friendly, so bring your loved ones (furry friends included) for a night full of fun!

Bring your battery-powered paper lanterns (no live flames, please).

Get ready for Glow in the Park with three fun ways to create your own lantern. Whether you want something quick to take home, a hands-on decorating session, or a guided class with an instructor, there’s something for everyone.

🌟 Pick & Go Lantern Kits 🌟
Come to the Suwanee Arts Center the week before the Glow in the Park Festival to choose your lantern! Pick from a variety of fun shapes like animals, mushrooms, and more. Take it home and get creative on your own time! 🎨
🎨 Arts Center Decorating Sessions
Join us at the Arts Center to decorate our classic, rounded lanterns with all kinds of fun materials, tissue paper, stickers, ribbons, sequins, feathers, and more! Get hands-on help and make your lantern festival-ready. ✨
🦋 Instructor-led lantern workshop
Take your lantern skills to the next level! Our art teacher will guide you to create more elaborate designs, like butterfly puppet lanterns, paper airplanes, or flying dinosaurs. Perfect for anyone looking for a creative challenge. 🎨
