The Suwanee Arts Center (SAC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit art organization dedicated to promoting the appreciation of local art through exhibition, festivals and other arts education. Based in Suwanee, Georgia, the SAC maintains an open membership policy where artists of all types, as well as art lovers, are welcome to be a part of the organization.

The Suwanee Arts Center hosts events in the beautiful Suwanee Town Center, such as the Fine Arts Festival and Suwanee Classic Car Show. Both events draw large audiences and the proceeds fund various SAC art initiatives.

In 2016, the Suwanee Arts Center opened Suwanee’s first Center for the Arts in Suwanee Town Center. Arts and cultural activities are at the heart of a community. Traci Dickson is a nature photographer living in Suwanee, Georgia. Born and raised on Vancouver Island, British Columbia,

Traci spent her childhood surrounded by the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Influenced by her outdoor experiences growing up on the west of coast of Canada, Traci's documentary and fine art photography reflect with gratitude and awe what we all see, but maybe never pay close attention to.

Traci began photography to document her children's high school years, milestones, and special occasions. Today, with both children now at college, Traci has the freedom and the time to explore and express her lifelong love of nature through this medium. Her nature photographs have been captured throughout the Southern U.S. during outings to wildlife refuges, nature reserves, botanical gardens, state parks, recreational areas and even within her own backyard.

As a nature photographer Traci's passion lies in capturing the beauty and wonder of nature, with light, story, and composition. Whether it be wildlife, landscapes or florals, Traci draws her inspiration from observing the natural world and portraying its character. Approaching her subjects with childlike curiosity and playfulness, Traci brings forth the intimacy of what's in her heart. Her images are an expression of joy, awe and wonder reflecting her reverence for nature.

Traci's photographic works reside in homes in the United States and Canada.
