Friday, March 20 & 27 | 6:00–8:00 PM Step back into the elegance of the 1950s and ’60s in this two-session watercolor workshop focused on vintage fashion figures and flowing fabric. You’ll explore dramatic silhouettes, expressive poses, and layered washes to suggest movement, folds, and texture—bringing stylish retro-inspired figures to life on paper. This class is perfect for anyone looking to loosen up their watercolor style while learning how to paint figures with confidence and personality. You’ll learn how to: • Sketch fashion figures using simple proportions • Create movement and flow with fabric and gesture • Use layered washes to build depth and texture • Add confident lines for structure and style • Capture playful, sophisticated vintage-inspired looks Each student will work on multiple watercolor sheets: • Practice pages to explore techniques and fabric studies • Finished paintings featuring retro fashion figures All supplies are provided (feel free to bring your own materials if you prefer).
