Friday, March 6 & 13 | 6:00–8:00 PM Join us for a special two-session watercolor workshop focused on painting faces! In this hands-on class, you’ll learn how to create expressive portraits using gentle washes, subtle skin tones, and lively eyes. We’ll break faces down into simple shapes and focus on proportion and features—so your portraits feel alive, not stiff. Perfect for beginners and anyone looking to build confidence with watercolor portraiture. You’ll learn how to: • Build faces using simple shapes and proportions • Create soft skin tones with layered washes • Paint expressive eyes and facial features • Use color and values to add depth and personality • Loosen up your style while keeping likeness Each student will work on two watercolor sheets: • One for practicing techniques you can use in future projects • One for your finished portrait painting All supplies are provided (feel free to bring your own materials if you prefer).
