Service Description

🌱 Whether you are a gardener, bug or bird enthusiast, plant lover, or just enjoy being in nature, come join us for this 2-session Creative Nature Journaling class! Here will explore the outdoors and learn how to draw it on the page and play with different techniques and media such as colored pencils, collage, and more! Whether you are a complete beginner or a seasoned artist, this could be the class for you to get outdoors and learn something new. Instructors: Lilly Vicens and Cosette Nelson When: Saturday, Aug, 8th & 15th | 10:00 AM –12:00 PM Price: $95 Members / $105 Non-Members (Both sessions are included in the total price!) Age: 11+ Materials: Materials will be provided, but attendees are encouraged to bring their own journals if they wish! 🌱In session 1 this class, you will join together with other nature lovers to go on a nice walk at DeLay Nature Park and explore what there is to find! Our instructors will be there to give you some more knowledge about the plants, birds, and bugs you might find out there! Here you will take some pictures, collect some leaves or flowers, and take some notes on your findings! It should be noted that the nature trail is accessibility friendly and not very long, so all are welcome to come. 🌱In session 2, you'll meet at the Suwanee Art Center, where the Instructor will walk you through how to bring your nature journals to life by showing you some techniques on how to draw the things you found on your adventure. Different media may be used, such as scrapbooking, collage, watercolor, colored pencils, stamps, and more! Hope to see you out there!
