CLASSES

Our classes offer an intimate, exceptional learning experience in an inspiring setting with locally and nationally recognized artists and educators.

The Suwanee Arts Center provides an all-around curriculum from novice to advanced levels, and it extends maximum accessibility in a broad range of programs that strive to develop the individual's artistic interests and abilities.

 

LANTERN WORKSHOPS - all ages

 

Get ready for the City of Suwanee's Glow in the Park lantern parade scheduled for

April 22 in Suwanee Town Center, with this lantern building workshop.

Registration includes one lantern kit containing:

1 paper lantern, 1 bamboo stick, 1 LED light, along with decorating supplies.

The workshops are for all ages. Children 8 or younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Date: Saturday, April 15

Time: 11:00 - 12:30 pm or 1:00 - 2:30 pm

Dates: April 17, 18, 19, & 20

Time:  5:00 - 6:30 pm

Class size: 8-10 students max per workshop

Gather with a fun group of friends and craft your own personalized lantern.

Either for yourself or take home for your little ones to use in the Lantern Parade

CLASS & REGISTRATION POLICIES

REGISTRATION

Classes and workshops are filled on a first-come, first served basis.

Please note that no student’s space will be held without FULL PAYMENT of class fees.

Credit card payments accepted through registration on website or by calling 678-878-2818.

CANCELLATIONS

The Suwanee Arts Center reserves the right to cancel any class or workshop due to insufficient enrollment or inclement weather. Full refunds (minus processing fee) are issued for cancelled classes. We make every effort to notify students of postponements and cancellations at least 24 hours before the first scheduled class. Dates and times are subject to change as necessary. The Suwanee Arts Center may elect to postpone a class in order to accept additional registrations to meet minimum enrollment requirements.

REFUNDS

To withdraw from a class or Lantern workshop and receive a refund, the request must be made at least 7 days prior to the first day of your class.

ABSENTEE POLICY

Make-up classes and credit for missed classes are different for each class. Please see instructor for details.

CLASSES & WORKSHOP POLICIES

We do not provide supervision of children before or after classes. We ask that you arrive promptly to all programs and do not leave children unattended. For parents who are late picking-up their child, Suwanee Arts Center will charge a $1.00 per minute late fee. The Suwanee Arts Center reserves the right to substitute instructors when necessary.

Classes may be canceled due to inclement weather or Gwinnett County Public School weather/holiday closings.
